Keith Syska is an Associate in the firm’s Plano office. His practice focuses on litigation, where he represents governmental entities in state and federal courts.

Before joining the firm, Keith served as an Assistant Attorney General of Guam, where he represented government agencies in civil litigation and advised on procurement matters, including large public construction projects. This work provides him with a practical understanding of the legal, operational, and risk-management issues faced by public entities.

Keith’s litigation experience directly supports the firm’s representation of Texas school districts. He assists in defending claims, navigating disputes, and advising on matters that require both legal precision and an understanding of how decisions impact district operations. His disciplined approach to case management and clear, effective legal writing allow him to contribute meaningfully to complex matters from the outset.

In addition to his litigation practice, Keith has taught legal writing and business courses as an adjunct professor for the University of Texas School of Law and the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He founded a legal education company focused on litigation-focused bar exam instruction.

Keith earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review.

Keith’s paralegal is Lisa Jackson.
