Now That It's Available, What Must I Do With the Do Not Hire Registry?

Reporting requirements under HB 3 were effective on September 1, 2019, and it instituted the seven-day rule. TEA has now launched the "Do Not Hire" registry. What is the difference between the DNH Registry and reporting to SBEC? Must I report to both?

Every district must have procedures for checking the registry before hiring and take immediate action regarding current employees that are found on the list. TEA will be auditing the use of the DNH Registry. Ensure you are in compliance by joining Dennis Eichelbaum during this quick 30-minute webinar.
