Seminar - The New Family Medical Leave Act Regulations Including the Military Service Leave Regulations Webinar

The New Family Medical Leave Act Regulations Including the Military Service Leave Regulations Webinar

Effective January 16, 2009, the Department of Labor significantly revised the FMLA regulations. They overhauled the original regulations governing the FMLA, plus they spelled out exactly what's required in implementing the new Military Family Leave Amendments. You will want to be up-to-date on these changes before it is time to revise your local policies.  TASB Policy Service released Update 85 on May 5 with revisions to DEC (LEGAL) and recently published the "Leaves and Absences" Starting Points for revisions to DEC (LOCAL) to assist you in incorporating the changes to the regulations into your local policies. This presentation will give you an understanding of the new regulations and their application to school districts, so that you can make sure your district is in compliance and make good decisions about updating your local policy.

Attend this webinar session from the comfort of your desk or conference room. You can participate by yourself or share the session with others in your district. All you need is a computer, an internet connection, and a telephone.
