Emily is an Associate in our Austin office and is a 2004 Magna Cum Laude graduate from the Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock. While in law school, she was a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society which recognizes law students who have obtained high grades of scholarship, and an editor for the Law Review. Emily interned with Justice Brian Quinn of the Seventh Court of Appeals in Amarillo.
Upon joining Schwartz & Eichelbaum, Emily brings with her a variety of previous experience including workers compensation cases. She is a former Bill Analyst with the Texas House of Representatives where she drafted bill analyses for house committee hearings and reports. Emily has also worked for the United States Department of Agriculture administrating and implementing federal farm programs to farm producers.
Emily holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harding and received the prestigious Alpha Chi National Honor Society scholarship.
Emily is passionate about giving herself to the community. She has participated in campaigns to Brazil and Russia, the Race for the Cure and Habitat for Humanity.
