Special education is an area where many districts are vulnerable. Schwartz & Eichelbaum has successfully represented districts in contested and non-contested special education matters, from ARD meetings to due process hearings to mediation to federal appeals, including defending 504 complaints filed with the Office of Civil Rights. We also assist with OCR investigations. Schwartz & Eichelbaum works regularly with special education cooperatives around the state.
