Student Rights & Responsibilities
Our attorneys advise districts regarding all aspects of student
discipline from that initial consult about an incident through the
DAEP conference or expulsion hearing and onto the appeal to the
board of trustees or court. We assist districts and train them in
the law with respect to search and seizure issues.

districts regarding child abuse reporting, student complaints,
confidentiality of student records, civil rights matters initiated
by students, and family disputes that may spill over into the

district's drug testing policy after the U.S. Supreme Court
